Are you looking to start your career in nails? Then this is the course for you. The LP Complete Gel Course is a three-day course that will take you through a variety of techniques to help you to become a qualified nail technician.
Each day runs from 10am - 4pm.
We only hold small class sizes to ensure that you get the educator time that you need.
On completion of the course, you will receive two industry-recognised qualifications, meaning you are safe to practice the techniques you have learnt out of the class room.
We practise a ‘hands on’ teaching approach, meaning you learn how to perform the techniques on people, so students are required to bring a model with them each day.
Day 1
Beginner - Prep | Tip Fit | Shaping
- How to prep the natural nail prior to any treatment.
- How to apply tips to the natural nail.
- Understanding the different nail shapes and how to shape the nail to the clients requirements.
- Nail structure and anatomy.
All students will be required to bring a model who has clean nails free of product.
Day 2
Gel Polish Application - One Colour | French | Brush on Builder | Removals
- How to apply gel product
- How to create French techniques.
- Brush on Builder’ techniques, demonstrating how this can be used to add strength to the natural nail.
- How to remove gel polish
The gel will be provided on the day - however, you are free to bring your own too. All students will be required to bring a model who has clean nails free of product.
Day 3
Hard Gel Application | Infill Techniques | Troubleshooting
- Application of hard gel and how to extend with a sculpting form
- How to perform an infill service on a nail that has hard gel
- Recap and troubleshoot any areas of concern
All students will be required to bring a model who has clean nails free of product.
Please note
Before attending the Complete Gel Course we require all students to complete an online module provided by The Guild of Beauty Therapists. The cost for the online module is £25, this is then deducted from your insurance if you chose to be insured by The Guild.

On passing the course you will receive two gel qualifications and will then be able to purchase products from any gel brand.
If you already have your own gel lamp we ask you to bring that along with you.
